From Hungary Hill
It was worth the wait! Just as I was walking back to the car the sky lightened and warm light started to peep through above the early morning mist. I was frustrated; I'd been in a great location, and the added bonus of watery sunlight would have helped the scene enormously.
I was lucky. These gates are usually closed but, for whatever reason, the farmer had opened them wide. I know there are various trains of thought on gates being open or closed in images. This falls into the category of open to allow the eye into the scene. I don't know about an eye, you could have driven a double decker through this gap. It was a pleasurable moment and I took a few more to just stand and soak in the view.
Have a great weekend, Blippers.
