Garden Robin

Perhaps I should have said one of my garden Robins. There are at least 4 in the garden and possibly more. They squable and fight regularly, presumably territorial or over food. I sometimes think they must use more energy chasing each other off than they gain in eating the birdfood I put out.

An hours walk at lunchtime produced a lovely pair of Goldcrest in the park and 5 Redwing rooting about in the leaf litter with 10 Blackbirds. Even if I'd had my camera with me there was not enough light to photograph these so the Robin will have to do today.
