Flowers for Friendship

Mum's friend Gwynneth from church popped round this afternoon shortly after we got back from our shopping trip, and brought these pretty tulips.  Gwynneth herself was widowed eleven years ago, so she knows all about this difficult wilderness time which Mum is currently experiencing between the sudden loss of her soulmate and their old way of life together and the slow adjustment into a new one on her own.  I'm so grateful that Mum has such kind and thoughtful people around her to help ease the way forward.
