A grand day out...

The forecast was good, so we set off for the Ingram Valley to walk to Linhope Spout with our friend Philip, who had never been there before. 

It's an easy, short walk (about 1.5 miles each way - Louie can't manage much more than that these days) that takes you in to the hills. The blip shows Philip, Mr M and Louie - there was a biting wind, so they didn't stay still for long! Nice and sheltered by the waterfall though, so we stopped there a while and had lunch in the sunshine. 

Refreshments at a cafe in Wooler on the way home, and a slight detour for another look at the rock art at Roughting Linn. A grand day out!
