Dunham Massey

Took full advantage of our National Trust membership today for the first time and Dunham Massey it was. We only went for the afternoon, but was well worth the trip down the M56. Ventured around the gardens and came across many strange and wonderful plants that we never knew existed. The glorious winter sun made this photo heaven even more, erm heavenly. Got a bit carried away with the camera and Tuttle Jnr made the most of his new camera too. We downed our piping hot lattes/hot chocolate just before closing time then headed home for a full-on fryup. Following our sensible eating plan for 2015 the fry-up was without the fry: all oven baked except for the poached eggs! And no bread. We were all pretty filled up by the end of the evening. More on Flickr here.

ps: Tuttle Jnr swam with the club this morning, starting at 8.00! He wasn't impressed at first despite promising the night before that he will definitely do it! It paid off in the end as he got a new badminton racket afterwards (the strings have gone on his old one).
