Along the lake shore.

After lunch we decided to go out to the lake and combine a walk with taking some potential blips.  For a change we decided to go to the southern shore, the north shore is much more accessible.

We parked in Pooley Bridge and strolled along towards Eusemere.   There were a a surprising number of walkers braving the cold wind however the sunshine made up a little for the cold.  Having reached the lake we decided to continue along the shore rather than follow the path which deviates in places.

This is the view along the shore  soon after we set off.  Many/most of my shots were not terribly good as the best views were down the valley (or should that be up) towards Helvellyn, which was straight into the sun
