Alternative technology!!

The annual nurses' league meeting was held in the old hospital building, now part of the Uni, for the first time, after 10 years in an alternative venue.

We normally have about 80 members attending but following our drive to reach more members we had 122!!!

We used one of the old wards for lunch and the meeting, and expected to use the sound system already installed. Unfortunately it didn't work and we had to fall back on the loudhailer supplied by one on the security guards!!

Our President who is an elderly retired nurse did a grand job with her presentation, with assistance from someone to point the loudhailer in the direction of the audience!!!
