Is there anything better than an electric blanket? After a day gloss painting windows (necessarily open) in temperatures only barely into positive zones, I felt I had earned an early night in the warmth. Painting in there, I find that my left (tin-gripping) hand is quickly frozen into a vice-like shape. Mr B helps with much sympathy and regular mugs of hot ribena. And promises of a better planning system that would have me painting windows in warmer times....
