Elephant proof

Isn't it beautiful? It's also the most over-engineered potting shed bench possible. I hope Mr B won't mind that his carefully hoarded stock of shelf brackets is gone...

This was therapy, really, as I woke up feeling very poorly and sorry for myself at 5am. Some wandering to locate the means to charge my phone (in case of calls from Scotland) didn't help. An hour reading my book, and then listening to the Archers, got me back to sleep, but I felt even worse when I finally got up.

CarbBoy was dropped off at basketball for his far-away match, shopping done, home for outdoor therapy.

So, the bench is ready to be coated with something practical but beautiful, shelves have been built, Mr B's immediate future sorted, and CarbBoy's team won 99-something less than 30. TallGirl is suffering from the combined effects of a horse fall last week, a bike fall this week and 'that tummy bug that's going around' so missed riding.

I, meanwhile, am exhausted beyond belief and may shortly ask the kids to tuck me up in bed.
