One for sorrow....

Busy day.
Went to watch my eldest grandchild play a soccer match. After that I went to take photos at a road race in Raheny for a friend who was organizing it. Glad I had 32 gig cards as there were 3,000 runners in the main race. Went to Dollymount beach to capture some raptors and managed three buzzards together. Off then to Dublin airport to watch the plane watchers. Had dinner in a pub and treated myself to an hour of trad music. managed two invites to dinner tomorrow night in The Pound with the local hunters.
Traditionally on the last Monday in January there is an almighty feast of pheasant, snipe, duck, pigeon, rabbit, venison and sundry meats to mark the end of the hunt season. The local police arrive and collect all the shotguns for safe keeping until next season for those who want to have them stored. Should be a great night. Mine will be interrupted by camera club but hopefully I'll make my way back.
