Le crapaud de Bouligny
Sunday
A great walk this afternoon along the Rocher Bouligny trail. The trail extends along a ridge, affording intermittent views across the Forest on either side. We passed all manner of weird and wonderful boulders, and a couple of "mares", or ponds. The formation I chose for my blip is called "Le crapaud de Bouligny", or The toad of Bouligny. The weather was somewhat grey, but dry, and not too cold, so I was surprised we didn't see more people along the trail. We passed one couple near the beginning, and then we didn't see anyone else until toward the end of our walk. When we got back we had a talk with our eldest daughter, then I fixed us a roast chicken dinner. A good day!
