Mum had style

I haven't done a monoMonday challenge for a while. With the theme of 'close-up' my thoughts always drifted back to this beautiful cream mohair/wool cape of Mums. She bought it in Scotland. It is an Andrew Stewart design.

The silver clasp is hand sewn on. I hadn't noticed the stitches until I was converting it to mono in Photoshop.

The cape still carries Mum's scent of perfume and make up. She only wore it on special occasions as will I.
