Dull, humid and dry

I think we have the portent of the tropical low that is tracking south. Unfortunately there isn't much moisture for us.

Good news in my letterbox when I got home today. My street is going to get repairs done to the earthquake damaged wastewater network.

Late last year the council announced it would take up to 20 years to do repairs and I didn't expect the smashed sewer in my street would be repaired any time soon. My street is part if a two year plan and it will happen sometime this year or next.

Yay! Progess! I'm very pleased about this.

I'm dog tired and if I'm going to take tomorrow's hump day in my stride, I need a good sleep tonight.
