Hong Kong
An eight hour time difference between Edinburgh and Hong Kong makes for a confusing start to the day.
We were lucky that it was warm and sunny. We were even luckier that our hosts arranged a gentle first day . We spent the morning touring HK Island with its wooded hills, sandy beaches and Pacific Ocean waves.
Lunch was at the Royal HK Yacht Club with its backward glimpses of its British Empire past. We sat outside in temperatures over 22 degrees.
We began our work in the afternoon and early evening which went well.
Dinner was served in a high rise restaurant overlooking HK harbour.
My blip shows a young Hong Kong couple who were having their post wedding photos taken along the HK Island's photogenic coastline. Note the bride's taste in fashionable wedding shoes!
