Final hour

Edit: threw this up quickly in the final blipping hour, a quick straighten and convert to mono for a change.
This was a surprisingly lazy blip, set up pocket camera on gorilla pod with composition I wanted and put it on star trails setting. It takes a shot every 30 seconds or so for 20 minutes and combines them. Job done! And as this was taken out the door I didn't even need to stand about in the cold night.

In the past I have used a 15 minutes or more exposure with the big camera and got similar results, although perhaps even noisier.

Having a very busy week putting the final touches to the showcase assembly which my class will perform to their parents, grandparents and the rest of the school on Friday.
