Just after midnight

The blizzard is ramping up with howling winds and blowing snow. This photo is taken through the window, it's the old pear tree, refuge for Fyra in warmer weather. We'll head up to bed now, not knowing what the storm will bring as we try to sleep.

Morning Update
Patio after 8 AM

It's very cold and the storm still rages on, through the day and the blowing and drifting will continue. We have had some brownouts, but still have power, thankfully. The wind is making the pines dance too much out back. The South coast has been hit hard after the high tide at 4AM. The seawall has given way in Brant Rock, Marshfield. Nantucket Island is totally without power with serious flooding.
