Woody and the Ocarina

I and some friends from Alaska drove over to Marahau this evening. We enjoyed a great meal at one of my favourire eating places, The Park Cafe. This famous cafe is sited at the start of the Abel Tasman National Park and thus is in a wonderful location. After our meal we visited the very special art gallery and gardens nearby. The owner, Woody Woodward, is multi-talented as a jeweller, artist, greenstone carver and musician. We spent some time with him... He is a fascinating character and played the ocarina for us. It was magical....
