It's back!
No, not this little micro-moth itself, but the obsessive poring over books and websites early in the morning to identify such creatures. This is my first moth recorded this year from the garden - well, the garden shed actually. It is either Agonopterix heracliana or a closely related species - I'm afraid it will have to have its genitals dissected to be sure. The thing is, now this has happened to shock me out of my mid-winter moth holiday, do I repair my moth trap and start regular recording for the year...or do I carry on enjoying that more relaxed start to the day for a bit longer?
