Peace Lily

We have had this plant growing in a basket arrangement since just before Christmas - it was a gift to Mrs madwill.

I has really begun to open out in the last few day - I like the twisty top (spathe) and the texture of the centre of the flower.

This was photographed indoors - with light from the front window (to the left) and a big white reflector to the right to lighten the inside of the flower. A piece of grey photo mount board was placed behind to contrast with the white flower. I tilted the flower basket a bit so that the flower was more or less perpendicular - so that I could get most of it in focus.
