Fish Pi And Iscrem

Miss42 has started writing short messages and, in this case, a menu as part of her play.

We encourage her and help her when she's interested in writing of course, but we haven't done anything even slightly formal with her.

Mrs42 (a primary school teacher) calls this emergent writing.  Whatever it is, I love watching her develop and discover the world.  It's nothing short of magic :-)

PS - we didn't have this for dinner tonight.  Maybe she's saying that this is what she would like for dinner tomorrow...
