Just a dull Polanco Tuesday

In the pursuit of anything to sell, the Mexicans are more adept at the outlandish than any other people I've come across.

Not only can you see 3D billboards complete w/pop-out products or giant LED screens running animations, but also this kinda Barnun & Bailey nonsense to boot.

I wasn't particularly interested in going to a night of Brazilian Dance & Culture at the local slot-machine casino before seeing this odd, if not energetic, promo.

I still wasn't interested afterwards, truth be told, but it certainly was diverting.

The guy in the wheelchair is someone who works the streets around here. For along time I've failed to get up the courage to ask him for a photo, for fear of appearing insulting.

I think my timidity paid off in the end!

And not what you might think, he was getting out of their, quite the opposite in fact. You get NOTHING if you don't ask
