The Lonliness of the High-Altitude Office Worker

This is the side view of Palacio Del Hiero, a large shoping mall and offices just round the corner forom wher I used to live.

I passs it on a daily basis, pretty much and this was the 1st time I ever someone (best viewed large) actually stood out on one of the many balconies.

Really gives a good impression of the scale of the building.

The only other people I've seen up there are the windowcleaners. When cleaning all the windows they use ropes to absail down from the top and to swing onto each of the balconies, rather than going in and out of each office from inside. Perilous, no doubt, but also much quicker.
