Upriver

Went wandering to see what we might see.... as we usually do...

We decided to start in Arklow, south of Wicklow town so we could get some required shopping out of the way and then wander back through the mountains at a leisurely pace stopping off whenever one of us saw something we wanted to capture. 
After an enjoyable coffee we wandered downriver to watch the swans and geese who put on a polished performance for us.

Came across a wonderful old ruin of a church, overflowing with character, in Avoca so hope to be back there on Thursday afternoon for Derelict Thursday.
