It Just Goes On

An unexpected visit to the Phoenix Park and Dublin zoo turned out to be a cornucopia of opportunities for photographs today and completely unexpected after our previous day in Howth.

The lighting was not good due to the threatened rain but, on the plus side, there was little chance of burnout on the photos and banging up the iso is so easy these days. The Sumatran tiger is taken through armoured glass but with 100-400 lens set at F5.6 and 2000 iso the glass disappears as does the fencing behind him..... Fluffikens and myself got enough good photos during the morning to keep us happy for some time to come.... Or, more likely, the next time we go out for photos... :-)

After the morning in the park and zoo I went out to dinner with four work colleagues and then on to the launch of a cd for a friend for whom I'd done the cd cover photography........ all in all..... a Perfect Day.... Just saying
