The Cobb Lyme Regis, Dorset

The Cobb has been the subject of many a photographer. Mainly looking along it from the town side or with waves crashing over the top or the harbour which lays unseen on its far side.  Late this afternoon we dropped down to Lyme and walked westward along Monmouth beach and looking back you could see size of this wall which had been built on this side to protect it from the prevailing weather
