Bird of Paradise

I had to restrain myself from posting another long exposure sea scene (but still no sunrise!). The problem with the Coast on Madeira, at least where we are staying is that most of it is privately owned and access to the shore is limited. I have another shot from near where I took yesterday which I like, but have restricted myself from posting another similar shot.

So you have a bird of paradise flower growing outside our hotel room.

Technical: the sun is directly behind the flower. I have used fill in flash to bring out detail in what would otherwise be a silhouette.
