Dying Beauty
Some may see this rose and want to throw it away, but I still see beauty in it. I love the deep crimson red color and the way the petals have started to curl up. As Moira and I walked up to our church this afternoon, she spied this rose. She is always on the look out for potential photos for her Nana to take. We both agreed the rose was beautiful and worthy of a picture. As I was leaning down to get close to take the photo, her little voice rang out with the warning, "Watch out for the thorns, Nana!" The rose and my granddaughter made me smile. I hope everyone had something to smile about today and something beautiful to behold.
