The Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay.

This delightful wooden church built in 1868 is an historic Lutheran building and was built as a place of worship for the Norwegian sailors in Cardiff. At that time the Welsh coal mines used to import most of their pit props from Norway and they would take coal back in payment. Cardiff born writer, Roald Dahl and his sisters were baptised here in 1916. The main function of the building now is as a café,  a first floor exhibition hall and ground floor entertainments hall.
