First Day

Hard to imagine, but today marks the first day of high school for Adam!  Growing up he is!
 
Nervous but excited was the emotion, in what I think is a “soft instruction” day. A pōwhiri  (Maori welcome) first up, then an orientation, and an early finish.
 
He met his mates at a local café before they trotted off together, safety in numbers. They looked so young … that will change!
