Weary Travellers

We headed to Wimbledon today with 60 small people in tow, to watch a production of Peter Pan. We go every year, and while the venue is really nice (it's specifically for children), the productions have gone downhill a bit!. It was barely recognisable as Peter Pan- well, at least the Disney version we all know and love! The children enjoyed it, but I think that was more to do with being in a theatre and the special effects! I found it cringe-worthy. You can imagine the over acting from a group that my colleague felt would benefit from a return to drama school ;-) !

We were back safe by 2pm, and all of us were pooped! I was so glad to get home, and as I did, we had a freak hailstorm followed by some snow at 4pm! It didn't settle, but it was rather interesting watching the display.

I've had a lovely, lazy evening, as I'm super tired. I'm looking forward to the weekend, but before that, I need sleep!
