for derelict Thursday

This poor little house with it's gas off sign is waiting to be torn down. This used to be a quiet little section of town with nicely kept up homes till the last flood in 2011. The normally small creek flooded the entire area to 6 or 8 feet deep I believe. Many of the residents chose not to try to rebuild and some houses were not sound enough to repair. As a result many of the houses on this side are already gone and at least 5 more are left :boarded up and waiting .This ones immediate neighbors were taken down this fall.
