Adventurer ladybird

The ladybirds were out in force in today's afternoon sunshine. There were several celebrating the springtime and others just drinking in the sudden warmer weather.

This one was making a conquest of the mint leaves. She's worth a look in the larger version for the detail on her face (if ladybirds do have faces)

The house has now been "fogged" to get rid of the rest of the smell of the fire. Sparkie has stayed for an extra 24 hours in the cattery. She will not be pleased. But it does feel nice to be more back to normal.
