Peacocks in the junkyard

Just down the street from our studio is the remains of an old very grand estate that has sadly fallen into a grave state of disrepair. There used to be a large flock of peacocks living there. Sometime in the past few weeks, the estate changed hands and the birds are no longer being cared for, which means they have been cruising looking for a new home. They have settled on the backyard of the studio which is a graveyard of discarded ceramic equipment slowly rotting to nothing. They seem sadly misplaced but people are feeding them and giving them water so they seem to have a place albeit temporarily. The studio owner is not happy with them mugging the customers and messing with the unfired pottery. I have not idea how long the stalemate will last.
