Bottling

Ady's sister, Frankie, is visiting and together we bottled most of the rest of our apricot harvest. Some of the softer ones went for apricot fruit leather. Frankie has more experience than I do with the bottling. We were using the overflow method, but forgot to blanch the apricots before pouring over the hot water, so then we had to redo them using the water bath method. Fingers crossed they will work as our jars have the one piece lids which we are reusing. In the future, I would definitely use the two piece lids.

Had another good morning at work and my nausea was a bit less today, so able to do more later in the day.
