The Kaimanawa Horses - Day 1

Just home this evening after an extremely busy two days, have had just the most amazing time and so so many photos I could be blipping.

Lynn and I left early and drove to Ohakune in the centre of the North Island to meet up with a group of 20 photographers, and have the opportunity to photograph the wild Kaimanawa horses.

We spent the afternoon with Tom Waara, an amazing horseman who has broken in two stallions from last years cull of the wild horses. It was just amazing what he has done with these two horses in the short time he has had them.
