Jay Raj for a birthday dinner tonight. Many happy returns to Mick (52), Debbie (42) and Jane (50). Poor Tim is dateless again. Not because he and Andrea have split up, I'm glad to say that's not the case, but she just seems to avoid social occasions. I'm not sure why and I feel for Tim, but after a good curry and a couple of beers, I doubt that he will mind.

Rosina has a trial shift at the Highlander tonight. A lovely little family run pub. I do hope it works out so that she can quit her job at Purple Parking. Driving to/from Heathrow very early/late is not ideal for a young woman alone, especially at this time of year. Even if not, she has been offered a job at Luton Hoo which whilst not as intimate/friendly as the Highlander is still a better option. What she saves on petrol costs makes it like a pay rise even though the hourly rate is a little less.
