This morning His Lordship and I ventured down to the seas again, to the lonely seas and the sky. However, unlike John Masefield it certainly wasn't lonely, with many people out promenading under blue skies and sunshine despite the somewhat chilly temperatures.

Our door to door no 45 bus flew down the road so quickly that we were ensconced in the Beach Café with our scones before JoppaStrand and Tiggy arrived.
Yes, we rewarded ourselves with a huge scone each for no other reason than it was too long since we had tasted one, and we suspected we might well be the only couple indulging as indeed was the case.

We had a grand catch up on affairs domestic and otherwise, interspersed with much laughter and a discovery of hitherto unknown talents in a couple who hide their lights well under the proverbial bushels.
