Marlborough Daisy bud.
One of my favourite plants in the garden is coming into flower. I preferred the photos of the buds to the open flowers that I took.
We had to have the boat in Havelock yesterday morning at 8.00am for work to be done on the motor. When PJ rung to say we were there, the chap said they wouldn't be done to get the boat for at least 1/2 an hour!! I could have had time to do another couple of things that we didn't do, as were rushing to get there on time.
Anyway, we got the hire van and went through to Blenheim, as there was a 2nd hand ride on mower that PJ was going to have a look at. We brought that, as it was a good buy and the other old one we have is always breaking a part or something.
Then we went over to Nelson, as PJ had won a voucher for $150.00 from a firm that supplies wet-weather gear, when he played in the Mussel farmers day back in September.
I checked out a second hand clothes shop, and found a friend working there, as well as picking up a lovely silk scarf in a pinkish red, with black bits through it.
Then onto Spot light and got some yarn for making another crochet jacket for my great niece.
We stopped at a pub for lunch and got given the seniors menu!! Got dessert for $1.00 extra.
Then into the city for a couple of other jobs, then back to Havelock, to return home.
Today we have had a group in at the golf club, and we supplied lunch for them. So it was a good fund raiser for the club.
