I rode out to Oberlin yesterday to have lunch with a Dean and trustee of the Bicycle Co-op who is a great guy, fun to talk to, and one of those people who seems to know 10x as much as I do about every subject that exists in the world.
It was great, though, and afterward I went to the Allen Memorial Art Museum, which is entirely excellent. Lots of art in there, like in the first corner of the main atrium space the size of my bathroom with 12 wonderful impressionist paintings crammed into it.
My favorites were some etchings, the French May '68 protest posters, and During the Reed Harvest, which does not look as good on that web page as in person.
