Susan's current painting

Whatever it was that I've had all this week hit with a vengence today. I had a meeting at school which really I should have missed, came home and went to sleep on the couch. After lunch I was banished to bed and slept solidly and dreamlessly for 5 hours. Apparently there is a strain of mild 'flu going around and I think I may have suffered that - this was no typical cold.

The sleep worked wonders, when I woke up it felt like I'd turned a corner. Weak still, but things seemed real, not distant as they had previously. Devastated as I'd had to pull out of the rugby tomorrow and doubly devastated as I'd failed to meet the challenge of recording some sort of exercise each day in January.

Susan's latest painting is a seaside scene based loosely on Broadstairs, I'll post the finished article in due course.
