Independent Coffee

I like independent coffee shops, that's not to say I don't drink in the generic ones you see on every high street, it's just my preference to drink somewhere that is someone's passion.

Invariably the coffee is better, the food tastier and the surroundings more relaxed and individual.

This picture is the food offering at Honey and Harvey in Woodbridge, this is by no means the only great coffee shop there, there's also The Firestation.   In Ipswich we have the wonderful Baker and Barista and no list of independent coffee shops would be complete without a word about the sadly lost Snobs Coffee.   Snobs embodied the true ethos of an independent, the coffee was great, the food tasty and the environment felt as though you were part of something, not forgetting the wonderful staff, it remains a travesty to this day that Snobs no longer exists.
