Light Up

This chandelier was directly above our table for a family Sunday lunch. The Orwell Hotel feels, and in some ways appears proud of its desire to remain true to its roots. It has undergone facelifts but you could be walking into a hotel from the early twentieth century.. The service is delivered in similar style.

The reason we were having lunch today was an apology for the problems we had on Christmas Day. In all honesty the food was tasty and the service was great and they did more than was required to redeem themselves. This was customer service at its best.
