Photo course

Today my Mum and myself went on a photography course run by Phil Evans, a Master craftsman in wedding photography.

It was very interesting and has shown be how to manipulate my images not using the auto buttons on my camera. I now know what a few of the other buttons on my camera do too!

My blip today shows our experimental photos, The 3 on the left were taken using 3 different white balances - tungsten light, auto white balance and daylight.
The 2 on the right were to show how changing the aperture changes what is in focus. We also looked at the histogram of an image, to ensure an image is not over or under exposed.

My head now hurts but I think I can put all this into practice and he also gave me some pointers to capture a slow shutter shot!
