Cracker Light

I noticed that Mt Iron had a curtain of mist hanging around it this morning, so I headed down to the lake to get a photo.  However when I arrived the mist had disappeared, but the sun was shining brilliantly on our famous tree in the lake.  The mountains are covered in cloud, so this photo of our tree has no mountain background.  The lake was as calm as a mill pond, but as I was leaving a swimmer appeared, and soon had made ripples in the lake.  Isn't the right timing just perfect.

Off to church now, and on with my day.
