What a Superb Day it's been

We have had a wonderful day at the Cardrona Ski Field.  We were able to go up in the Chairlift, then had a choice of trails to come down.  Some people walked up to the top lookout, then down to Captain's Basin.  Others chose to walk around the knoll to Captain's Basin and most of us walked down the Skyline Track back to the Base Building.

This photo is of some of the 44 people walking around a rock face on the Skyline Track.  That is Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu in the distance.  We all had a very welcome cold drink at the Cardrona Ski Field Cafe before heading back down the mountain to Wanaka.

The extra photos are:  1.  Going up on the Chairlift.  2.  Walking around the rock face.  3.  Looking across the valley to the Snow Farm.  That's the road we drive up when we go snow shoeing.

A simply perfect day was had by all.
