Stoicism in the snow

The Scots are hardy and the heather hardier. Wonderful to see a bit of colour against the hummocks of snow.  

The dogs and I had an absolutely fabulous walk this morning - blue skies and snow covered landscape and I could honestly have walked all day long as the fresh snow was crunchy and not in the slightest slippery.  I managed some good pictures of both dogs but thought this one deserved my blip today.
