Welcoming Committee

In spite of a bitter wind, snow showers and grey skies, we went out for a drive this afternoon to Loch Kinordy, an RSPB site which usually has lots of birdlife.  They had more sense than we did, as there were only a few swans and ducks huddled on a sandbank in the middle of the loch, too far away to get a decent picture!

Plan B involved heading for Peel Farm to get a warming cup of coffee and this was our welcoming committee as we got out of the car:-)  There were several more behind them too, all keen to see if we had brought them something to eat.  Maybe next time!
