Woohoo! I'm in the right country again!
Here am I again struggling to concentrate as mom is talking at top speed and volume as usual after a couple of glasses of Buzzard Valley Sparkling Pink 2006 which was a Christmas present from John and Jennie. At 13% it is unusually strong for a pink. Very nice! It's from a vineyard in deepest darkest Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands..
Anyway, it's wonderful to be here again!
This will have to be a quick one as I want to go to the West Kirk. Mom does not like this picture at all 'with all the lines and that ugly thing in the middle' as she puts it. Her choice was a load of snowy trees in the Lake District where I tried to catch a train picture from Westmorland after a tea/loo break. The sun was shining so brightly, I could hear a train but not see it pressing the button hopefully. Nice trees and a blurry hillside but I'd missed it completely! Typical of me.
This was from further up and I was nearly blinded by the sunlight at the top of the pylon.
That's it! No snow at all in Ayr although there was plenty visible on the way up. I think the salt from the sea stops it settling.
