'...you know how I feel...'
How weird life is sometimes! I haven't been outside the house since Wednesday. Work has been quite intense but don't get me wrong, very good too and I have learned a lot doing things for the first time. One of those things was discovering that my phone has a loudspeaker function on so I don't have to hold it to my ear and dislocate my neck trying to balance it on my shoulder while pressing buttons and clicking a mouse!
I'm serious! I have always been envious of people who can balance the phone on their shoulder successfully, carry on a conversation while doing things with their hands AND get this; they don't look like a deformed gargoyle either! I reckon I was born with my shoulders in slightly the wrong place. They are functional and keep my bra straps up but I think they slope down too much making phone balancing impossible while using hands and activating jaw and brain all at the same time. Instead I have to say 'Hang on a minute!' while I put the phone down and type or click something and you hear that little mouse squeak voice come out of the receiver so you pick the phone up saying 'Eh?' I did have a headset but the temptation to say 'Come in number seven, your time is up!' was too irresistible so I gave up on it.
Using the loudspeaker on the phone is so much easier! Why didn't anyone tell me years ago?!
Anyway, in between all the excitement of setting up new menus, functions and taskflows in Oracle Live (woohoo) I got several shots out of the kitchen window and have spent half the night trying to decide which to use for today. Blue tit, long tailed tit, sparrow, squirrel and several starlings with this fellow being the one that made me laugh. His feathers were all fluffed up so I think he was cold and wet in the dismal day.
Looks good large!
They spoke about ear worms on the radio today - those tracks you have going round in your head all day that won't shift - and apparently, listening to God Save Our Gracious Queen will kill it. It doesn't work, I say!
Track? This is the best version of this track EVER I reckon. Joe Bonamassa - Feelin' Good
