The mighty have fallen....

Another clean frosty day. Once everything was fed,took the pallet tines over to wee brother to use on his tractor. While there,took the dogs up to see how the tree felling was getting on in the top wood. The machine has been felling for 2 weeks now. It is a big skelp of trees-about 30 acres,so I think he will be a day or two yet. Counted the rings on some of the logs and make them about 60-65 years old so would have been planted around 1950s. The man that planted them won't be worried I doubt !
